The Stinkin’ Rose

Hello world! It’s been a while. I’ve been busy lately, but I wanted to share this great picture from a couple weekends ago. I was celebrating my friend Ashley’s birthday at an Italian Restaurant in downtown San Francisco called the Stinkin’ Rose when we took this. Here we are left to right; Ashley (left), Rachael (2nd from left), Me, and Emily (right).

I just got Adobe Photoshop Elements for Christmas and edited this pic of my dog Toby. Isn’t he a cutie? I’m looking forward to taking and editing more photos in the new year ahead.

Winter Weather Pot Roast!

Here’s my favorite recipe for winter weather pot roast!
It’s so easy! … This recipe also makes a lot of food so it’s great to share with family and friends.

Ingredients
3.5 pounds of chuck roast
salt and pepper to taste
1 packet of dry onion soup mix (I like Lipton’s)
1 cup of water
1 bag of small baby carrots
1 diced onion
4 chopped potatoes (peeled & in chopped 1 inch cubes)
1 stalk of celery chopped

Directions
Take the chuck roast and season it with salt and pepper to taste. (I like to cut off the fat as well).
In a large skillet over medium heat brown the meat on all sides.
Place it in your crockpot and add the soup mix, water, carrots, onion, potatoes and celery to the pot.
Cover it and cook on your crockpot’s low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
